Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Lensce at lensce.com. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. These terms

Lensce is operated by TinyHive Labs Limited (“TinyHive Labs”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16262776.

These terms are an agreement between you and TinyHive Labs. By creating an account or using Lensce you accept them. If you use Lensce on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that company.

2. What Lensce does

Lensce measures how often a brand appears in answers from AI search engines. An audit sends a set of prompts to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and Claude, records the answers, and produces a visibility score, competitor comparisons and recommended actions.

AI engines do not give the same answer every time. Scores and rankings in Lensce are measurements taken at the time of each audit, and results will vary between audits.

3. Your account

  • You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
  • You may invite team members to your organisation. You are responsible for what they do in Lensce.
  • You must be at least 18 to use Lensce.

Tell us straight away if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

4. Plans, credits and billing

Free plan. New organisations receive 3 audit credits at sign-up. No payment details are needed.

Paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment provider Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

Audit credits. Each audit uses one credit. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of audits. The allowance resets each month and unused audits do not carry over. Credits bought as top-up packs never expire.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to the Free plan.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable. This applies to monthly and annual subscriptions and to top-up credits, including for any unused part of a billing period. Nothing in this section affects rights you have by law that cannot be excluded.

Failed payments. If a payment fails we will email the organisation owner. If payment is not received, the subscription may be cancelled and the organisation moved to the Free plan.

Price changes. We may change our prices. We will give you notice before a change applies to your next renewal.

Taxes. The prices we show include any taxes we are required to charge. Nothing is added on top at checkout.

5. Acceptable use

You may audit any publicly accessible website, including sites that are not yours. You agree not to:

  • use Lensce in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
  • resell, sublicense or provide access to Lensce itself to third parties, other than sharing reports with your clients and prospects;
  • copy, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • attempt to bypass plan limits, credit limits or security controls;
  • overload or interfere with the service or the systems it depends on;
  • present Lensce reports in a misleading way, for example by altering scores.

6. Your content and reports

You keep ownership of what you add to Lensce, such as your agency name and logo, client details, prompts and tasks. You give us permission to store and process that content so we can provide the service.

You may share the reports Lensce produces with your clients and prospects. Reports show your agency name and are produced with Lensce. You are responsible for who you share a report with, and for having the right to share anything you add to it.

7. AI engines and other third-party services

Lensce depends on third-party services, including AI engines, a payment provider and an authentication provider. We are not responsible for their availability or for the content of answers that AI engines generate.

Lensce is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Google, Perplexity or Anthropic. Their names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the engines we measure.

If an engine is unavailable during an audit, the report will show results for the engines that responded. A credit is only used when an audit completes; an audit that fails does not use one.

8. Our intellectual property

The Lensce software, website, branding and scoring methods belong to TinyHive Labs. These terms give you a right to use the service while your account is active. They do not transfer any ownership to you.

9. No guarantee of results

Recommendations in Lensce are suggestions based on audit results. We do not guarantee that acting on them will improve a visibility score, search ranking, traffic or revenue. Nothing in Lensce is legal, financial or other professional advice.

We work to keep Lensce available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
  • we are not liable for decisions you or your clients make based on audit results or recommendations;
  • our total liability to you for all claims arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100 if you have paid us nothing.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Lensce and close your account at any time.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or has unpaid fees. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you the chance to fix the problem.

When an account is closed, your access ends and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the service or these terms

We may change Lensce and these terms as the product develops. When we make a material change to the terms we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email or in the product. If you keep using Lensce after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
